Communication that connects. Understand people better.

Why do some people understand us straight away while others never seem to? DISC helps us recognise different communication preferences and approach conversations more consciously.

Workshop group with a trainer and a DISC diagram: D green, I red, S blue and G yellow; the supplied German diagram labels conscientiousness as G

Who is this training for?

For sales and customer service, managers, employees and teams.

Same conversation. Different perceptions.

What feels clear and direct to one person can seem impatient to another. What one person considers thorough can feel cumbersome to someone else. The situations below are illustrative examples.

01

Customer communication

The customer is listening, but the message is not getting through.

02

Leadership

The manager states a clear expectation. The employee understands something different.

03

Collaboration

Some people want quick decisions; others want all the facts first.

04

Feedback

Well-intentioned feedback is received differently than intended.

What is DISC?

Four perspectives. None is better than the others.

DISC is a simplified model describing behavioural and communication preferences. The four perspectives help us notice differences and communicate more consciously.

D – Dominance

Strength
Deciding and moving things forward
Communication
Clear goals, concise statements and room to act

I – Influence

Strength
Inspiring and connecting
Communication
Exchange, recognition and vivid examples

S – Steadiness

Strength
Listening and providing stability
Communication
Trust, reliability and time to get on board

C – Conscientiousness

Strength
Analysing and safeguarding quality
Communication
Facts, structure and time to review

People combine different behavioural preferences. DISC does not divide people into fixed categories. It is a tool for reflection and communication, not a clinical diagnostic instrument.
